The Weihnachmarkts are set up all over Berlin, and in a matter of a few days, the entire city has transformed into a Christmas lovers' paradise! The Germans looove Christmas time. I mean really love it. Which is perfect for me, because it is one of my most favorite times of the year! And I love the decorations, the lights sprinkled all over the city, Christmas trees on every corner, the hand-made ornaments, warm hats, the Christmas markets found on every other street, warm Gluhwein, colorful scarves, riding the ferris wheel, and strolling around town on Advent Sundays. This Christmas is going to be a special time in Germany and my family arrives in 6 days!!
