Had another fabulous weekend, with dinner out with Jill's mom at the Bird, marathon TV watching with Jason, welcoming Rachel to the Hauptstadt, eating delicious chinese lunch out, watching the Christopher Street parade downtown, touring the Reichstag with Rachel (racked up my 8th visit - I just can't get enough German democracy action : ), Fulbright dinner out with the entire crew + Rach and Erin!, dancing and hanging out Saturday night, homemade brunch, some clutch finds at the flea market, and a lovely Sunday afternoon with friends in Prenzlauer Berg. It was really exciting to have Rachel and Erin visiting!
Monday was back to the routine schedule with class and such. Then to Potsdamer Platz to catch the Che movie with Jason, Catherine, and Erin. I love going to the movies, and it was a fun treat.
Then yesterday and today I have been rocking the suburbs, with class, reading, getting things in order for my move, and entertaining. Jason, Catherine, and Erin traveled out to Lichterfelde last night for yummy Greek food, ice cream, and cards. Super fun!!
So my weekdays have been exciting so far this week. And we are already on the downswing to a fun lake 4th of July weekend. Perfection!!
Hope all is well Stateside - looking forward to my return in 3 weeks!!!!
